Centre for Health Care
The Centre for Health Care is a multi-specialty medical group of over 50 health care providers serving the patients of inland North County since 1992. The Centre contracts with more than 300 physicians to provide health care services to managed care patients who are enrolled in the following health plans: Aetna, Blue Shield, Blue Cross, Blue Cross Senior, CIGNA HealthCare, Health Net, PacifiCare-A United HealthCare Company and Secure Horizons.
Imperial County Physicians Medical Group
Imperial County Physicians Medical Group is an Independent Practice Association incorporated in June 1994. ICPMG has been a client of SCPMCS since our inception in 1996. ICPMG has nearly 100 primary care and specialist physicians who serve Blue Shield and PacifiCare-A United HealthCare Company HMO members in the greater Imperial Valley region of California.
North County Health Services
North County Health Services is a not- for- profit organization, organized in 1973 to provide health care to residents of north San Diego County. NCHS is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with five primary care medical offices located in Carlsbad, Encinitas, Oceanside, Ramona and San Marcos. NCHS has been a client of SCPMCS for its full professional risk contracts since January 1998, which include Community Health Group and Health Net.
San Diego Physicians Medical Group
San Diego Physicians Medical Group was established in January 1998 as the result of a merger between La Jolla IPA (incorporated 2/1/91), Health East Medical Group (incorporated 1/24/90), and Chula Vista IPA (incorporated 4/22/91). The individual groups and the merged entity have been clients of SCPMCS since our inception. This IPA consists of more than 500 physician providers who serve patients across San Diego County. SDPMG maintains contracts with Aetna, Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Health Net, PacifiCare-A United HealthCare Company and numerous PPOs.
Union Pacific IPA
Union Pacific IPA was incorporated in September 1995 and has been a client of SCPMCS since January 1998. The IPA is owned by primary care physicians who manage health care for Medi-Cal and Healthy Families' members through a Community Health Group contract.
